On Friday 23rd of February, EURCAW Aqua Coordinator prof. Michail Pavlidis had the 1st official meeting with Yves Van der Stede, Senior Scientific Officer Team Leader on Animal Health and Welfare at EFSA. The aim of the meeting was the establishment of communication lines between the two organisations, the description of active tasks that both organisations implement and the possibilities to achieve synergies and complementarity. Finally, actions to enrich the pool of experts on aquatic organisms welfare aspects discussed.
